T.J. Teru is an archaeologist. He may not be the best archaeologist in the galaxy, but he’s the best known. T.J. Teru makes sure his ventures play as “media events” regardless of their dubious scientific value. Think of him as a cross between Carl Sagan and P.T. Barnum.

T.J. Teru is as intelligent as you would expect an archaeologist to be. His speciality is ancient alien civilizations, peoples and customs. Ruby taps “Teru” for information whenever she needs it. But, for all his intelligence, Teru has a flaw. He has a “thing” for female androids with smooth plastic flesh. In his words, “plastic makes me hot”. This of course leads to many misadventures in their world full of androids.
